We went to see The Jersey Boys last night at the Palazzo. I heard the show was continually sold out and now I know why. It's great. Period. We were especially inspired to see The Jersey Boys now because we just got back from NYC where Desi performed with his sister in a tribute to their father's music and there we met Ramon del Barrio who was the Stage Director & Choreographer for the show in NYC (Babalu) and he also performs in The Jersey Boys at the Palazzo. He took a 2 week break from The Jersey Boys to work on the show in NYC.
Now that we're all back in Las Vegas we wanted more than ever to see The Jersey Boys and there on stage was Ramon where he played Billy Dixon and other parts. I took a photo of Haley, Desi & Ramon after the show but it came out blurry so here's a photo I took in NYC of handsome Ramon & Desi's sister.
Regarding NYC ~ the show Desi did with his sister was called Babalu: The American Songbook Goes Latin. It was a tribute to the music of the Desi Arnaz Orchestra and featured songs from the 1930's & 40's. There were 5 sold out shows. It was great. Period. But, were we happy to come home? Yes. Was it ice cold in NYC? Yes. Do I ever want to see a taxi cab again? No. Photos were forbidden inside the theatre (darn it) so I don't have too many photo from the show. I did snap some fun photos after the show and at other points during our 2 week stay and they're in a new photo album to your left. Just scroll down and click on New York City.
By the way, have you seen The Jersey Boys? xoxo Amy
