My friend, Leah, made a wonderful one-of-a-kind quilt for us to Raffle at our December Nutcracker Ballet to raise money for our children's ballet company. It is made with the first run, original I Love Lucy fabric mostly depicting the famous episode where Lucy is working with Ethel in the Chocolate Factory.
Desi & his sister, Lucie, licensed the fabric thru their company Desilu Too with a quilting fabric company called Quilting Treasures. The quilt is very QUALITY and professionally made and measures 5"6" x 4'9". In this photo it is spread onto a double bed.
I put several more photos in a photo album to your left. Please click over there on "Raffle Quilt" to see the quilt in more detail. We are hoping to raise $1500 for the quilt to help us pay for new tutus we ordered for The Nutcracker. Even if you can't come to the ballet December 10-11-12, you can still enter the raffle. Tickets are $1 each and if you send me a check or cash I will enter your name in the raffle. Any amount is appreciated and I will personally write your name on each raffle ticket you purchase. And we thank you for helping non-profit Boulder City Ballet Company.
