After a scary landing in a prop plane at LAX Wednesday
night we were stranded on the tarmac until the power
re-upped inside the airport due to the extreme winds.
Our plane was the last plane to land before the runways
were closed due to flying debris including cement
barricades. Hard to believe the wind could move
cement barricades, but it did.
After our adventure on the tarmac, my boys and I were
ushered onto a bus that took us to Customs where
the computers, baggage carousels and lights had just
come back online. Quite interesting to see this
mega-airport turned upside down.
Does your dog like to fly?
Jelly Belly? That's a cute name.
He's so quiet. Didn't know he was onboard!
I have a little dog but he would never
behave on a plane as well as Jelly.
Does he travel often?
In the midst of people being very nervous
(including me), scruffy Jelly was a welcome
sight and brought a smile to every ones face.
After all, being deliciously cute is what he
does best. My boys and I are home safe and
sound. Mother Nature is awesome.
